Artist introduction:Mingxiao Gao, male, graduated from Art School of Yuncheng Area in 1984.
1989  He graduated from Fine Art Teachers Class of Taiyuan Industrial University.
2001  He graduated from Fine Art Education Major of Shanxi Normal University.
He finished the courses of the 1st Advanced Study Class of Lacquer Painting held by China Artists’ Association in Industrial Art College of Fuzhou University in 2003. Now he is vice director and adjunct professor of Art and Gym Department of Yuncheng College Normal School Branch, director of Minjin Yuncheng College Normal School Branch, member of China Artists’ Association, vice-chairman of Yuncheng Artists’ Association, academician of Guangong Painting and Calligraphy Gallery, member of China Fine Art Education Academy. Since he engaged in fine art education work, he put the teaching and research in the first place, forgot himself to work, studied intensively his professional work hardly, strived to stand in the forefront of this discipline, and was praised as excellent teacher for continuous years. He was outstanding guidance of the subject in Yuncheng, won May 1st Award and gained the 2nd Award.
Recent years, he wrote fine art education thesis that were published in Teaching and Management, Professional Technology Education, Newspaper of Shanxi Normal University and other academic presses. While he done teaching well, he continued to study and explore, created lacquer painting. His works were chosen to the 3rd China Gym Art Exhibition, Yellow Painting Exhibition, the 15th Newcomers New Work Exhibition, the 1st National Lacquer Painting Exhibition, 203 Beijing International Biennale Lacquer Painting Series Exhibition, Fine Art Teachers’ Excellent Works Exhibition of National Middle School, and Primary School, the 10th National Fine Artwork Exhibition, Xiamen 2005 Chinese Lacquer Painting Exhibition held by China Artists’ Association.
Part of his fine artworks were published in Fine Art, Peoples’ Education, Pedagogic Education, China Education Newspaper, China Fine Art Education, Fine Art Grand Sight and other newspapers and magazines as well as grand painting collections and dictionaries, and was published China Famous Fine Artist Series Mingxiao Gao Fascicule by China Pictorial Book Concern. Parts of his works were collected by nation, famous persons, as well as international friends.
