Artist introduction:Wang Xin, born in 1925, from Chengde, Hebei Province. He's member of China Artist Associate, consultant of Hebei Artist Associate, honorable president of Hebei Watercolor Associate, consultant of Huahan Gallery, national level-one artist. He started to work in the end of 40's of last century, and in early 50's, he worked at art creation and edit in Provincial Culture Union Studio in Rehe. After mid 50's, he worked as a professional painter in Liaoning Art Publication, and committed to creation and study of traditional Chinese painting, new year paintings and watercolor. During the period, he has been to Daxing'an Mountain, Inner Mongolia prairie, border mountains, Taihang mountainous areas and south of Yangtze River for sketch, where he recorded thousands of moments in life and fabulous natural landscape by his brushes. In early 70's, he went back to his hometown Chengde and worked as researcher of People Art Museum. His works participated in numbers of exhibitions including the 2nd, 6th and 7th National Art Exhibition, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd National Exhibition of Watercolor and Gouache, the 1st National Watercolor Exhibition, Asian International Watercolor Exhibition, Korea-China Watercolor Exhibition of Hundred Artists and so on. His works were displayed in many countries such as Japan, the USA, Singapore. Many of his works were published on national main newspapers and art volumes, and were collected by many art publications and art museums as well. Watercolor Sheeps at Field was recorded into China Modern Art Collection(watercolor volume). In 1985, he won National Excellent Painter of New Year Painting conferred by National Culture Department and China Artist Associate. His published volumes include: Painting Collection from Wang Xin, Selected Watercolor Collection from Wang Xin, Special Volume of Watercolors from Wang Xin, etc.
