Artist introduction:Yaxin Jiao, male, was born in 1956 from Bangpu city of Anhui province. He graduated from the art department of Liberation Army Art Academy and has worked in art creating for 30 years. He studied from Guangtao Zhao, Kaixi Cui, Dawei Liu, Quanshu Tan, Wei Wang, etc. Now he is a member of China Artists Association, member of China Print Artists Association, affair director of Hefei Artists Association and the professional painter of Hefei Painting and Calligraphy Academy. He started to publish and exhibit his works in 1970s. In the beginning, he took the army life as the subject, and then he took the western minority folk customs and Buddha as the creating material. He once went deep into Qinghai, Gansu, Xinjiang, Tibet, etc to see the snow grassland, desert, yellow earth, altiplano and the western sceneries, depend on which he created many works of folk customs. He traveled to Tibet, visit the famous temple and mountains for the deep research and sketch. His works are mainly the characters.
