Description:Obscuration Time series was enlightened by living habit of wild mongoose, which is an unique wild animal in south of Africa. This kind of mongoose has their social organizations and families, with nimbus, love and kindness. They are solid against enemies forever, which is reduction of ancient human society. The artist thinks, with the human culture progress, however, family solidarity is desalting. He shrinks the length of legs by using exaggerated eyes with nimbus, which makes the 150cm*150cm image more saturated. He uses strong colors more bravely and more rationally. Four of the series are completely into new creation and the background is dealt in a powerful and unconstrained style. He makes good arrangement of the figures and expresses the harmony power and solidarity power of primitive human family in various environments, especially for the simplicity, elegance and liberty of children vividly and thoroughly.
Artist introduction:Wenyou Huang, male, born in 1964. During 1984 to 1987, he studied in PLA College of Art, major in oil painting.
In 1988, his works JOIN ARMY entered Army Art Exhibition. His painting LUCKY COMING entered the 7th National Art Exhibition In 1993. His solo exhibition was held in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center in 1995. His works joined in International Art Exposition, Guangzhou, 1996 and Beijing, 1998.
In 1999, his excellent paintings LADY IN RED and VIOLET were included into collection of Taizhong Art Museum. During 2003 to 2006, he worked as an art teacher in Xiamen City University.
In 2006, he became an graduate student of Xu Beihong Art School of China Renmin University.
