Qiaochang Xu, male, born in Luliang, Yunnan Province in 1968. He graduated from Yunnan Art Academe, majored in Art and Fine Education in July, 1997. He now works as a instructor in art department of Yunnan Chuxiong Teacher School. He’s a member of Yunnan Artist Associate.
In 1997, his graduational original work, a Villiger in the City NO.2, won an excellence prize in the Meiyuan Cup of the Country Art Schools Graduational Works Agon, and a 97-Yunnan Oil Painting Award in 97-Yunnan Oil Painting Exhibition.
In 1999, his work Stilllife entered Altiplano Yunnan Fine Art Exhibition.
In 2000, his work a Villiger in the City-Secondhand Bookstall entered Yunnan Portrait and Still-life Oil Painting Exhibition.
In 2003, his work Waiting entered the 3th China Oil Painting Fair Yunnan Section.
In 2004, his work Love for Red River entered the 10th Country Fine Art Fair Yunnan section.
In 2005, his work a Villiger in the City, Love for Red River were published on Contemporary Chinese Oil Painting.
For many times, he took part in varieties of exhibitions in Chuxiong State and won awards.
