zmz Oil Painting Artist Wenyou Huang, Born in an old town in south Fujian Province in June 1964. His grandfather was a famous doctor in town and his father was a sailor. His father is interested in calligraphy, drawing, and music in his leisure time, so little Huang Wenyou was deeply influenced by him, and has an surpassing gift in art when he’s little. For his naughty nature, he’s not a poppet for others and a little trouble-maker to the family. He loves painting, but there’s no paper at his home. Then, in others’ noon break, he drew smartly on neighbors’ white walls and went on his individual creation with a baked charcoal. He even called it black ghost as he did. Such a bold and advanced behavior art led out what we all supposed to know. In 12 of Wenyou Huang, economic of old town went to pot and living conditions hung behind. To fill his stomach and have better food, he was secretly going on with a long formulated bright plan privately. After three days of unremitting striving, the first hand-painted money of two yuan in China came out in his hands. Maybe because grocery old man had poor eyes, or the money was so close to the real one, he actually succeeded in his little trick with a curious conincidence. He spent five cent for candies, and took back the charge 1.95 yuan. It was Wenyou Huang’s first time to hold so much pin money, so he was so excited that he felt his body just as flying. Certainly, truth will come to light sooner or later. Such a bad doing came to light in 2 days. His father sent him to police station to the policemen to educate this young ’talented crimer’, and the ’masterpiece’ was took away by policemen. Now it seems pity that the ’money’ could not be preserved that time, or it now may have high collection value.

In 1980, Wenyou Huang passed successfully phisical examination of land army 31 enrollment by little trick of drinding a pot of water to cover his short of weight. When he was in the army, he always drew sketch and designed blackboard newspaper for the army. Then he was transferred movie group and won first prize of slide painting. His fine art works were published times in famous newspapers and periodicals of in and out of army, and he was conferred three-level merit twice. In 1984, he was relegated to newspaper office of Fuzhou Military Area Frontline as art editor. In the same year, he enterred oil painting specialty of Art Institute of PLA with an outstanding scores. During he was in school, he worked hard in painting, and gained new understanding and thoughts about oil painting. For his schetch cause, he even got guidance from famous painters, such as Jin Sangyi, Zhan Jianjun, Qian Shaowu, etc. His graduation work Join Up enterred the 6th Art Exhibition of Army. After graduation, he worked on illustration in China Agricultural Bank and China Agricultual Foundation newspaper office. Based on his love and insistence of painting, he resignated work of bank and became a professional painter. He worked with his twin brother and created oil painting Luck Coming, which enterred the 7th National Art Exhibition.

His solo exhibition was held in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center in 1995. His 8 oil painting works, including Young Emperor, Queen Mother Cixi, Emporer Kangxi, were collected by collectors. After that, his works joined in International Art Exposition, Guangzhou, 1996 and Beijing, 1998. In 1999, his excellent paintings LADY IN RED and VIOLET were included into collection of Taizhong Art Museum. His works receives attention from lots of oil painting lovers from all over the world. After 3 years, he was employed as an art teacher in Xiamen City University. In 2006, he enterred the first graduate student course of Xu Beihong Art School of China Renmin University and studied further. During course, he maily created large-scale painting(6x2.5m) Stage and Beginning of Nature, which moved towards another leap in his creation road of oil painting art.
