Zhixin Peng was born in 1950s and studied art by himself. In the early 1970s, he was recruited to be the art editor of SCV Paper of PLA. And then he worked as the art editor of Zhelimu Paper and art editor of Keerqin Literature. He is good at illustrations in periodicals. He created print painting ULANMUCHI which was selected to National Art Exhibition and was published on Guangming Daily, Jilin Literature, etc. His oil painting LIGHTNESS took part in Youth Art Exhibition and won the prize. His annual painting THREE FRIENDS IN COLD, ODE OF OCTOBER, GREEN FEATHER WELCOME MORNING, DOCTOR NOT ON SHOES, and publicizing painting COUNTRY LONG LIVE were published by Jilin and Inner Mongolia People’s Publisher. He is special-invited painter of illustrations of the magazine October. In the recent years, he mainly created with the minority of Inner Mongolia as the creating topic. He is member of Inner Mongolia Artist Association.
