Weiquan Wen, with a pen name of Wendu and a mark of Babei (one of Phoenix Tree Bada Shanren), is from Zengcheng of Guangdong province. He is a member of Shenzhen Plane Designing Association and deputy secretary-general. He is disciple of Beihong Xu, Kuanming Li, Shaotang Pan, Xinrang Zhang, Fei Cheng, Dayin Yao, etc. In 1995, he graduated from Industrial Art School and studied in Guangzhou Art Academy. In 1996, he started to work in art designing in Shenzhen. In 2006, he together with his painting friends created Phoenix Tree Pioneer Art Alliance.
