Ping Zhu was born in Anhui in July of 1962. In 1983, he entered the art department of Puyang Normal Academy in Anhui province and got bachelor’s degree in 1987. In 1999, he was folded to Shanghai. Now he is a member of Anhui Artist Association, and Anhui Youth Artist Association. His oil painting OUTER SUBURBS took part in Anhui Art Works Exhibition for celebrating the 40th year of establishing PRC; his oil painting HOLIDAY took part in Anhui Youth Art Exhibition and won the First-grade Award; his oil painting HOUSE WITHOUT LIGHT took part in the 2nd Anhui Oil Painting Exhibition and won the Second-grade Award; propylene painting MOON LIGHT was collected by Yishiqi City Hall of Japan; oil painting REST won the First-grade Award in the 3rd International chanting poems festival exhibition; oil paintings SCENERY OF WANNAN, AFTERTASTE, CYCLAMEN, STILL LIFE WITH ROUND MARK, VASE FLOWER, etc were published on Art Paper. Several works took part the exhibitions and were published on various magazines.
2000   In December, he took part in The Second Time of Shanghai Oil Painters Works Exhibition.
2001   In February, oil painting FADING MEMORY was selected to Walk into Wes Exhibition held by Shanghai.
2001   In May, oil painting CLOUDS OF BACK MOUNTAIN was selected to the 11th Spring of Jiangnan Painting Exhibition in Shanghai.
2001   He took part in Shanghai Art Works Exposition.
2001   His oil painting CHARM OF AUTUMN took part in 2001 Spring Art Works Auction held by Shanghai International Goods Auction Co., Ltd.
2001   Two oil paintings FLOWER took part in 2001 Autumn Art Works Auction held by Shanghai International Goods Auction Co., Ltd.
2002   He was invited to create large-scale fresco LIFE, SCIENCE, FUTURE for Children’s Palace in Pudong New Area of Shanghai.
2002   In August, he took part in Shanghai Academy Late Oil Painters Works Exhibition.
2002   From 5th of September to the 4th of November, America International Art Web held for his an oil painting exhibition---Secret Garden of Life.
2002   He took part in Shanghai Art Works Exposition.
2003   Japanese Magazine City Rambling did an exclusive interview of Oil Painter Ping Zhu.
2004   He held individual painting exhibition in Tangchen Golf VillaDom Garden.
2008   In September, oil painting work ROSE IN SUMMER DAY took part in Shanghai Teachers Painting Exhibition.
2008   In November, two works took part in Humanity Jiangnan---Oil Painting Inviting Exhibition for welcoming Pan World in Yangzi River Delta Region.
