Zhuoxun Liao was born in August in 1940 from Guangzhou. He graduated from the landscape specialty of Chinese Painting department in Guangzhou Art Academy in 1964. He was taught by Linnan painting group master Shanyue Guan, Xiongcai Li, and Professor Jinzhang Chen. In the several decades, he devoted himself to landscapes creation which assimilates the excellent factors of traditional Linnan painting group and has his own style which emphasizes the tradition and highlights the direct feeling to the nature. His works were appreciated and collected by domestic and foreigners. Now he is the common fair director of China Painting and Calligraphy Association, professor of China Painting and Calligraphy Art University, and member of Guangzhou Artist Association.
