Yongqiang Liu was born in Chaoyang city of Liaoning province in 1975. In 1996, he graduated from the decorating department of Hei Long Jiang Art Special School. Then he worked in advertisement design and painting creation. He studied painting skills and practiced in oil painting field fully and completely. His painting style is unique and took the characters as the material. He is specializing in creating topic series, created a express form which combine realistic style and modern abstract art. His works once took part in art exhibitions for many times. In 2000, he once held individual works exhibition in Peony River.
