Gensheng Tian, with a pen name of Tianran, is originaly from Handan of Hebei province. In 1988, he graduated from cloth designing specialty of Zhenzhou Light Industry Institute. In 2007, he studied in creating high-grade research class of China Art Association following teacher Changjiang Wu, Daoxing Zhang, Ziling Du, Wu Yuan, Qilin Mei, Chunyang Huo, Lichen Zhang, etc. He is a professional painter and now lives in Beijing. He is a painter of Flower-birds Painting Atelier in China Artist Creating Center.
1999 His works were selected to Country Ode of 50 years since established our country which was held by Hebei Art Association.
2002 He was selected to National Art Works Exhibition Hebei Exhibiting Area for memorizing the 50th year of Chairman Mao Speech in Yanan.
2004   He won the Excellent Award of Hebei Excellent Art Works Exhibition for the 55th-year establishing the country which was held by Hebei Art Association.
2004   His work was selected to Hebei Modern and Contemporary Artists’ Works Volume.
2008   His work was selected to National the 1st China Traditional Chinese Painting Line Drawing Exhibition held by China Art Association.
