Feng Chen, with marks of Bamboo Stone, Secret Person in Bamboo Mountain and Master of the Yafeng House, male, was born in June of 1959. He is of Han Nationality from Dazhu county of Sichuan province, the master of Yafeng House. He graduated from the War Industry School which belongs to Spaceflight Industry Department and the Chinese Language Literature specialty of Cadres’ Correspondence Academy. He is a party number and now works as the vice director of the Traffic Combat Readiness Office of National Defense Mobilizing Committee, member of Dazhou Dazhu Artists Association in Sichuan province and the director of Writers Association in Dazhu county. He liked drawing since he was a child. In the spare time, he persists on studying, researching and seeking for the sketch, oil painting and Chinese painting and calligraphy for more than 30 years. He majors in China landscape and flower-birds painting but occasionally draws characters and studies seal cutting. He believes the ancient poetry of “There is way when you are studying hard.” and “When you are painting naturally, you get the point.” He knows a lot, gets others advantages, and experience and feel the spirit of national culture. He created many landscapes and flower-birds paintings which apotheoses the nature and glorify the great country. His landscape work SCENERIES OF SHUDONG won the Silver Award of the National 2nd Painting and Calligraphy Game of Party Cadres exhibited in Beijing Military Affairs Museum and was collected by < Awarding Works Gathering of National 2nd Painting and Calligraphy Game of Party Cadres> which was published in the nationwide. His work FAMILIES IN THE MOUNTAIN won the First Award of national 1st Chinese Painting and Calligraphy New Works Game---Ink Relationship of Ancient and Nowadays and was edited in the large-scale classic book of painting and calligraphy <China Modern New Works Gains of Painting and Calligraphy> which was published in the nationwide. Flower-birds work PICTURE OF RICH-HONOR MYNAH won the Second Award of National Poem, Painting and Calligraphy Game---China with Great Ease and was collected in <Large-scale Painting Gathering of China with Great Ease Awarding Works>. His Chinese traditional paintings were collected respectively in the large-scale art books such as <China> <China Ode> <Time’s Track> <China Art Ancient Treasury> <Long Lasting China> etc. Magazines and papers such as <Chinese Artist> <China Competitive Art> etc. have published his works, photo and resume to the foreign countries to introduce his China landscape and flower-birds painting works.
