Lan Ma graduated from the Art Academy of Hebei Normal University in 2000 and in 2008, she got master’s degree on art. She is the art lecturer of the art department in Baoding Academy, member of Hebei Artist Association and member of Beijing Traditional Chinese Realistic Painting. In 1999, her work PICTURE OF PEOPLE HAPY was selected to Hebei Competitive Works Exhibition for celebrating the 50th year of establishing our country and she won the Bronze Award. In 2002, her work GO BACK FROM THE LOTUS POND was selected to the National Art Works Exhibition for memorizing the 60th year of Chairman Mao Speech in Yanan. In 2004, her work LOTUS POND was selected to the Art Works Exhibition for celebrating the 55th year of establishing our country. In May of 2007, she held Shibin Ma, Lan Ma and Xing Wang Home Exhibition. Her works were published on the magazines such as Art Observing, Art World, Art Guidance, Art Vision, Art Paper, China Painting and Calligraphy Paper, etc.
