Jinxiang Liu, female, studied the oil painting specialty in Jilin Art Academy in 1996. In 2001, she taught in the Art Academy of Henan Normal University. Since 2006, she studied for master’s degree in Sichuan Art Academy.

1. Creating background: we are in a material-consuming time of victory for industrial civilization. Materials are rich; science and technology are developing fast. While in this time, we are facing the crises of spirit purchasing lost; spirit is becoming empty under the extrusion of materials; what is left is moving body talking about their puzzles. None of them has no mind or status; they represent anyone who lost self in the world.
2. Creating meaning: head representing direction of action, wisdom and sense, is the place where man’s spirit lives. While body represents sensible material world in which one can do as one wants. Man without head is taken as the main symbolic mark for expressing the picture’s thoughts. It represents groups losing self-control. In the material world, man’s spirit is lost. I thinks about the self-value of contemporary people.
