Xun Pan, male, was born in Liaoyuan of Jilin province in 1963. Now he paints in Song Zhuang of Beijing.
As a scholarly family and afterworld of herbalist doctor family, I do not inherit his family work but follows his ancestors’ interests of painting art. As the fifth child in the family, I am loved by brothers and parents. Strict family education and constantly see and hear the art, I have deep interest in painting especially western oil paintings. During juvenile years, I did not give up purchasing art and when I was indulged in art when I was about 10 years old. I walked in street and alleys, stations, plazas, fields without knowing tire. After grown up, I do not give up the art even lost my job for several times. In the end of 1980s, I started my vagabond life. Rough experiences result in my own style and waken my desire of creating. From 1990, I started to devote myself to the creation of over reality oil paintings.
In 1994, I settled in Beijing.
1997   He took part in China Art Exposition and some of his works were bought by HK gallery.
1997   His work MICROBUS took part in Excellent Oil Painting Auction in Jiade of Beijing and was clinched the deal.
1998   He took part in China Art Exposition and won the Second Award.
2000   He took part in New Century China Oil Painting Exhibition in HK Baijia Gallery.
2003   His work NON-NATURAL LEGACY took part in the 3rd Oil Painting Exhibition and entered top 400 works (in China Art Gallery). Many of his works were collected by domestic and overseas people. His works were published on Examples of Skills for Oil Painting Still Life published by Hei Long Jiang Art Publisher.
In 2004, he lived into Song Zhuang.
2005   He took part in the 12th China Art Exposition. His work RETURNING PARTICIPANT won the Gold Award.
2003   He took part in Beijing International Double-year Exhibition---Difference and Construction-Contemporary Art Exhibition.
2007   His work in October FAGUIR LIKE SO (once called SPACE OF LIVING) took part in Large-scale Oil Painting Exhibition held by HK World Gallery.
2007   His work in November RETURNING PARTICIPANT , MEMORY IN THE SUNSHINE and RETURNING PARTICIPANT NO.2 took part in 2007 China-Song Zhuang Contemporary Artist Exhibition.
2008   His work in January ZHOU ZHUANG and HOME NO.4 took part in Tujing-the First Song Zhuang Scenery Exhibition in Hanyan Gallery. His work in March of 2008 FAQUIR LIKE SO NO.2 and OLD DREAM OF TIMES 1 took part in 2008 China Contemporary Celebrity Inviting Exhibition of Oil Painting in HK World Gallery. His work in the end of March of 2008 QUIET REFULGENCE took part in Flash.Artists United Exhibition in Ribo Ainu Gallery.
Advocating celebrities but do not same with others is my painting style. Paint for spirit and character with my heart and live with heart is my belief.
