zmz Oil Painting ArtistQingfeng Guo, male, was born in Suide of Shanbei in 1967. In 1989, he walked to see about the Wuding River and started to collect folk art. From 1990 to 1992, he studied in Print Painting department of Xi’an Art Academy and finished his paper work PAPER CHARM series (more than 30 pieces of paper-cut and paper-rear). He published literature thesis Life Meaning of Folk Art and took part in the National Folk Paper-cut Theory Discussion Meeting in Xunyi. Form 1992 to 1993, he taught in Xi’an Art Normal University. He finished his canvas work BIER FIELD series (more than 10 pieces ofcanvas stick, wall hang, canvas pile, etc.). He published literature thesis Liquid-state Village Culture and Folk Art and took part in the National Folk Art Theory Discussion Meeting held in Xuzhou. 
In October of 1993, he held his first personal exhibition in Taibei Art Space of Taiwan.
From 1994 to 1995, he finished more than 10 print paintings such as HOLY WATER and HUANGYANG SLOPE, in which HOLY WATER 2 was selected to the 8th National Art Exhibition. He published literature thesis Folk Art Practice Class and took part in the National Folk Art Theory Discussion Meeting held in Tianjin.
In 1995, he started to create oil painting and print paintings. His print painting CELLAR FAMILY was selected to the 14th National Print Painting Exhibition and started to the deep research of folk art along the yellow river.
From 1998 to 1999, he studied in the assistant teaching class of Folk Art Lab in China Central Art Academy and finished the master’s class with excellent grade.
In 2000, HanSheng publisher of Taiwan published his literature work SUNSHINE SONG AND SUNSHINE PICTURE and he published more than 10 literature thesis and diary on Art World, Yanan Literature and Hansheng magazine of Taiwan.
In the early 2001, he created in five cultural marks and languages of wood, fire, earth, gold and water including a picture of nine palaces, four pictures, eight wood door, nine copper lamps, sixty-four horse spoons.
From July to September of 2001, in the art action of Embroideries Yellow River Travelling from the origin of the Yellow River to the entering seaport and he finished the large-breadth work EMBROIDERIES---CLOTH OF THE YELLOW RIVER.
In December of 2001, EMBROIDERIES and FIVE LINES COLLIGATE SETTING took part in West·West Art Exhibition held by China Art Association, Shanxi Government and undertook by Xi’an Art Academy.
In February of 2002, his thesis Several Problems in the Inherit of Folk Paper-cut took part in the Non-material Culture Legacy Meeting held by China Paper-cut Research Meeting. He fell to editing the reviewing diary Cloth of Yellow River.
In April of 2002, he was employed as the expert member of the national key subject---Northwest Humanist Resource Database.
In May of 2002, his print painting HEIGHT won the Second Award of National Art Exhibition---May 23rd.
In 2003, his work LIFE TREE was selected to the 3rd China Oil Painting Exhibition.
In August of 2003, his work Cloth of Yellow River was published by Shanxi People’s Art Publisher.
In October of 2003, FIVE LINES COLLIGATE SETTING and 10 pieces of oil painting works took part in Shanghai Spring Art Salon Exhibition.
In October of 2004, he took part in China Folk Paper-cut---Non-material Culture Legacy Proseminar held by China Central Art Academy and UN Science Education and Culture Organization.
In March of 2004, his oil painting LION GIRDER SERIES 1-4 were selected to 2004 Shanghai China New Vision---China Contemporary Youth Artists Works Exhibition.
In 2004, FOLK STONE SCULPTURE OF SHANBEI---LION was published on the 4th term in 2004 of the magazine Sculpture.
In April of 2004, PAPER PEOPLE was published on the 4th term in 2004 of Yanan Literature.
In April of 2004, his research report Florist Woman---Xiuying Cao took part in China Folk Paper-cut---NonMaterial Culture Legacy Proseminar.
In May of 2004, Shuanwa Stone & Zhenzhai Stone and Conception of Village Culture was edited to Shanxi Folk Art Sculpture, Mud Sculpture.
In March of 2004, EMBROIDERIES---CLOTH OF YELLOW RIVER won the Gold Award of Shanghai Folk Art Exposition.
In August of 2004, he finished the folk art review diary Paper People Diary and in 2006 was published to a book by Shanghai Three Units Publisher.
In October of 2004, SPRING RAIN ON THE LION GIRDER and HAPPY GUOJ LOW-LYING took part in 55 years of establishing the country in Shanxi. HAPPY GUIJIA LOW-LYING won the Excellent Works Award.
In 2006, many of his oil paintings took part in HK Group Discision Inviting Game and were collected by private persons.
In 2006, many of his oil paintings were collected by Beijing 198 Gallery and took part in the circling exhibition in Germany.
In July of 2008, he established his own oil painting atelier in Song Zhuang of Beijing. His works once took part in exhibitions for many times, won awards and were collected by domestic and foreign organizations and persons. His work GALE PASSES OVER SPRING LION GIRDER was collected by an American friend recently and the work was exhibited in Shanghai Art Gallery. His work WE HAVE BEEN AWAY FROM TREES FOR SO LONG TIME was collected by a Japanese friend.
