Buhui Qian was born in 1956 from Bangpu of Anhui province. He is subdecanal of Anhui Sculpture Academy, member of China Sculpture Academy, commissary of China Sculpture Specialty Committee and commentator of Anhui City Sculpture Assessing Committee.

Series 8,9,10 were selected to 2004 China·Belgium Contemporary Sculpture Works Exhibition. Series 11 won the Third Award of the 3rd China Engrave Art Festival---Sculpture Prize Game. Series 12 was selected to the 10th National Art Exhibition and Shanghai 1st Modern Craftwork Art Works Exhibition. Series 13,14,15 were selected respectively to the 2nd Beijing International Art Double Years Exhibition·China Youth Artists Exhibition of 2005, China the 3rd Sculpture Art Game and Yellow Sky and Thick Earth National Sculpture Exhibition. His work SHADOW SERIES-BACK TO MOTHER’S HOME, SHADOW SERIES-THREE CROSS, DRUM GIRL, THE YEAR THE MONTH THE DAY were selected to the Tradition and Modern Civilization City Sculpture Exhibition in Beijing in 205 and were collected by Beijing City Sculpture. The other three works were selected to Guangzhou Beautiful City Sculpture Plan Exhibition. SHADOW SERIES-GLEE ODE was selected to Excellent Art Works on Line Exhibition held by China Art Association. His work MAZU was selected to Huian Cup International Stone Carving Game of 2006. SHADOW SERIES-DRUM GIRL was selected to China Korea Sculpture Works Communicating Exhibition in 2006. DRUM GIRL won the Gold Award of the 13th China Art Exposition. In 2007, DRUM GIRL was selected to the 8th Shenzhen Han Jade Cup International Stone Carving Game and won the Second Award.
SHADOW SERIES-PLAYING FOOTBALL was the enlarging work of 2008 Beijing Olympic Park Football. DRUM GIRL 2 was selected to 2008 China Youth Sculpture Works Inviting Exhibition.
