Jinfu Lin was born in Fujian in 1978. In 1999, he graduated from the sculpture department of Fujian Craftwork Art School (now is Art Academy of Fuzhou University). In 2006, he graduated from the oil painting department of Art Academy in Qinghua University. When staying in school, he won the Qinghua Friend Scholarship for 3 years. Since 2006, he is a professional painter.

2007   His work PUZZLE was selected to Compromise and Creation---2007 China Oil Painting Celebrity Inviting Exhibition in Capital Museum.
2007   His work SHOWER was selected to 2007 Undergraduates Nominating Exhibition of Contemporary Art Academy and won Bronze Award in Today Art Gallery.
2008   His oil painting was selected to the 1st May 4th International Young Art Festival of 2008.
