Lu Wan, female, was born in 1982. In 2004, she graduated from the oil painting department of Sichuan Art Academy with bachelor’s degree. In 2007, she graduated from oil painting department of art academy in Sichuan University with master’s degree. Now she teaches in Sichuan Normal University-Chengdu Academy.

Works Self-introduction:
Man is contrary especially women. Bearing the commonness and the vanity under the mask in the real life, women also experience the inner self-outdo and changes in growing. They imagine the Snow White and Cinderella in the tale, hoping to the same with their richness but pure and outstanding.
    My works are more reflecting women’s emotions and their living status because every woman’s soul is unique. They always appear with various faces, hard, clever, charmy, etc. But I like to enlarge their beauties. Slightly closed eyes, slightly opened mouth, long nails and limbs, classic black skirt around their body, it is like the ink converting in the water and spread of dedire which is beautiful and charm. Women in my works are like the baby in the liquid. Maybe they need a kind of protection under their independence and hard appearance. So they protect their inner world, floating in the air, dancing and chanting. She is soft, cloudy, riot and hard. Her softness is woman’s inner world; her cloudiness is around woman without time limit; her riot supports woman dancing in the night. Woman loses lost eyes in the material world under the soft dance. It only can find self in the bright water. They like water, hard but soft. In the world with desires, woman still plays their unique rhythm.
