Ru Wei graduated from the art department of Liaoning Education Academy. He once studied oil painting and aquarelle in China Central Art Academy and China Art Academy. He is a member of China Artists Association, member of China Oil Painting Academy, vice president of Dandong Artists Association and the executive dean of Dandong Zhongshan Painting Academy. Now he is the art editor of Dandong Daily Paper Publisher. His works won the gold, silver and bronze award of national works exhibitions held by China Art Association and he was interviewed by several professional papers and TV stations. His art works were edited to China Contemporary Art, China Contemporary Oil Painting, China Aquarelle Art etc. He held personal exhibitions in HK, Taiwan, Japan, France and America. His oil painting works were collected by national museum, art gallery, art organization and private persons. He is the contract painter of China Liaoning International Art Auction Company. In 2006, he was invited to take part in the 5th International Painters Art Communication held in America.
