Chunjie Luo was born in Jilin province in 1969. He lived in Changbaishan district with a beautiful natural scenery and simple country life which had a deep impression in his heart when he was a child.
1985  He started to study art. Strict specialty training and the books made him see a interesting world and from then he make up his mind to be a good painter.
1988  He walked along the Yalu to sketch， lived in the classroom of elementary school in village and ate together with the villagers. Along the Yalu, he knew appreciated the beautiful scenery and the simple villagers.
1988  He held s the sketch reporting exhibition---White Mountain and Green Water.
1989  His oil painting DREAM IN AUTUMN took part in Art Works Exhibition of Changbai Mountain Panax Festival.
1990  He entered the art department of Jilin Normal Academy.
1991  His oil painting BRONZE LOCK won the First Award of Youth Art Game held by Jilin Youth League.
1994  He established personal oil painting atelier in Beijing. In the exploration, his personal style was formed.
1995  He went deep into the Changbai Mountain, painted l lot of sketches, and knew the native customs. He created PUT ON COWSHOE, YEARS, PLOUGH UP, etc which reflected people’s life in Changbai Mountain.
1995  His PUT ON COWSHOE took part in the Selecting Exhibition of the 3rd National Oil Painting Exhibition---the 1st Jilin Oil Painting Exhibition and was held in Jilin, he got the Gold Award.
2003  He established oil painting atelier in Shanghai to create the oil paintings which show the bright characteristics of ice and snow of Changbai Mountain.
2003  His oil painting NORTHWARD took part in the Jilin Mass Art Works Exhibition.
2004  He lived with the workers for two months for creating the large-scale group sculpture EXPLOITER, and he had a deep experience of the workers’ life.
2005  He went back to Changbai Mountain to sketch; he created WARM SUN, GUANDONG AFFECTION and THE OTHER PLACE OF THE MOUNTAIN.
2006  His oil paintings FIRST SNOW IN CHANGBAI MOUNTAIN, and WINTER, were collected by collectors.
2007  He created works about the country affection; SILVER HOMESTEAD, FINE AFTER THE SNOW, ICE-SLUSH FLOWER and LITTLEEANLING IN FRONT OF THE OLD WALL were reported by the large-scale web media such as Souhu, Sina, Tengxun, TOM, Huicong, etc.
