Zengsheng Chen with alias of Zhirun, Dasheng, was born in Zhaoyuan city of Shandong province in May of 1941. Now he is a national first-grade art master, member of China Artists Association, member of China Calligraphers Association, director of Beijing Lake Society Painting Association, special-invited professor of Advertisement Academy of Beijing United University. He once worked as the vice president of Weihai Artists Association, sub decanal of Weihai Painting Academy. He studied from the famous painter Professor Qifeng Sun. He likes to paint flower-birds animals, especially specializes in painting cat, dog, monkey, tiger, squirrel, etc. His works focus on the ink, construction, and interest, which have a big breach of Chinese animal’s paintings. He once was dubbed 2000 China Hundred Outstanding Painter, 2002 China Art 500 Top, New Century Chinese Painting and Calligraphy 400 Top, Modern Painting and Calligraphy Art Celebrity. After more than 60 of his claborate-style painting, annual paintings were published by Shandong, Liaoning publishers in 1980s, his traditional Chinese painting works were published on the special magazines for many times such as <The Art>, <Winter Jasmine Flower>, <Traditional Chinese Painters>, etc.
