Xiong Li was born in Shanxi in 1963. He graduated from the Print Department of China Central Art Academy. Now he is member of China Artists Association, member of China Print Painters Association, standing director of China Oil Artists Association and first-grade painter of China Oil Painting Academy. His works were selected to the 8th ,9th, and 10th National Art Exhibition; 2nd to 6th National Industrial Print Exhibition; 12th, 13th, and 14th National Print Exhibition.
1987   He joined the Japan International Print Annual Exhibition.
1994   He joined the Four Seasons Wind International Communicating Exhibition in HK and won the award.
1989   His work AUTUMN’S MOON IN TAIHANG won the Bronze Award of National Oil Culture Game.
1992   His work THE RISING SUN won the Silver Award of 2nd National Industrial Print Exhibition.
1994   His work MOUNTAIN STOCKADED VILLAGE won the Silver Award of 2nd Industrial Print Exhibition.
1999   He won the Silver Award of Stars Prize.
1998   His work THE DINGLE won the Gold Award of 4th National Industrial Print Exhibition.
2000   His work WEST LAND. HOLY LAND won the Bronze Award of 9th National Art Exhibition.
1997   His work MOUNTAIN STOCKADED VILLAGE was collected by a Taiwan friend.
2004   His work THE DINGLE was collected by Sichuan Art Gallery.
1999   His work THE EDGE was collected by a Japanese friend.
2001   His work WEST LAND. HOLY LAND was collected by the Shenzhou Print Museum.
2006   His work MORNING IN THE SNOW LAND was collected by China Central TV Painting and Calligraphy Institute.
