Gu Gong, male, was born in Pingyao of Shanxi Province in 1982. During 2002 and 2006, he studied the oil painting in the second atelier of Beihong Xu’s Art Academy in China People’s University. He studied after professor Ping Yan who is a famous oil painting master. In 2006, he was recommended to continue his master’s degree following professor Keju Wang who is also a famous painting master.
Works Exhibition:
2005  His work SMILE TO THE LIFE NO.2 took part in the 20th Art Exhibition Chinese Works Exhibition in Korea and won the Excellent Work Award. His work was exhibited in Korea Daqiu Art Hall.
2005  His work SPRING GIRLIE took part in the 80-year Anniversary Exhibition of Taiwan Furen University.
2005  His sketching work in Dujiangyan of Sichuan Province SCENERIES OF QINGCHENG MOUNTAIN was collected by Doujiangyan Government.
2006  His work FARMERS’ WAR TRILOGY No.2 took part in the Hopeful 1980s Art Works Exhibition in Jiefu Gallery.
2006  His work LEAVE HOME took part in the New Generation’s Art Works Exhibition in Today’s Art Gallery.
2006  His work FARMERS’ WAR TRILOGY NO.3 took part in the National First Excellent Works Exhibition for this year’s graduates and was exhibited in Today’s Art Gallery.
2007  He got the Excellent Graduating Work Award in Beihong Xu Art Academy of China People’s University. His works SMALL WOODS, SCENERIES OF THE CAMPUS and copy work MOSES were collected by the school.
2007  His work SUMO No.1 and 3 were selected to the 2nd “China Modern Art Exhibition---Chongqing” in Chongqing Sanxia Museum.
2008   In May, his work FARMERS’WAR TRILOGY NO.2 was selected to 3rd Teachers And Students’ Oil Painting Exhibition and won the Excellent Award (Unique Award).
