Dongjun Zhao was born in Anyang of Henan Province in 1951. He graduated from Tianjin Art Academy taught by Mr. Qifeng Su and so on. In 1998, he was appraised as National Top 100 Painter who enjoyed the special subsidy by the government. Now he is a national first-grade art master, a member of China Artists Association, the honored chairman of China Modern Painting and Calligraphy Seminar, the vice chairman of Flower-birds Painting Seminar in Henan Province, the specially-engaged painter by Henan Painting and Calligraphy Academy and the Political Consultative Commissary of Luoyang City.
