Yijian Li, from Yichang of Hubei Province, is originally from Wuxi. He studied successively in China Painting and Calligraphy Correspondence University and Hubei Art Institute. When he was a child, he studied after Guoxin Wang who is a famous artist in Hubei Province.
1995   His MOUNTAIN’S HIGH AND WATER’S LONG was selected to the first Sanxia Paintings Show in Yichang.
1996   He formally entered Beijing Art Academy, Beijing Xu Dongdong Gallery and Wang Wenfang Gallery which belongs to Wenfang Wang who is the famous landscape painter in Beijing Art Academy for further study.
1996   wrks were selected to the Sanxia Yichang Art Work Exhibition held in Beijing and was collected by the display hall of China Central Academy of Art.
2000   He held a personal painting show in Beijing Yanhuang Art Gallery. Many national painting s were collected by collectors from home and abroad, which was introduced by China large-scale and authority art publications for several times. Now he is a member of Hubei Art Association, the specially-engaged painter of Beijing International Research Institute of Painting and Calligraphy, the specially-engaged painter of Jiangsu National Painting Academy and the director of Sanxia Art Academy.
