Dong Zhao, male, professional painter, courtesy name Yishu, Han Nationality, born in Jiange, Sichuan in 1981(now living in Mianyang), finished undergraduate courses of Design, member of China Hard-point Pen Calligraphers’ Association, member of Sichuan Artists’ Association, vice-dean of Art Communion Centre of Mianyang Artists’ Association, executive chief editor of China West Art Community Net. He was edified by family art as childhood to study calligraphy and was good at calligraphy, oil painting, and traditional Chinese painting, then he learned from famous painter Yingqiang Wu to study traditional Chinese painting. His individual calligraphy and painting works were chosen to national grand exhibition of each kind and won award times, and were edited into many painting volumes. Besides these, his works were collected by many unites and private persons.
