Wenquan Xie, male, born in Guilin, Guangxi in 1973, finished the undergraduate courses of fine art major of Guangxi Normal University, loved painting as childhood, and coached by famous artist, knew flower and bird as well as landscape. His flower and bird paintings started with the skills of contemporary famous flower and bird painters Xuetao Wang, Qifeng Sun and Lang Xiao, and he further studied painting skills of Changshuo Wu and Taoshi. His works were good at little freehand brushwork flower and bird, His landscape took Meng Wang’s style as main research direction. His work style is comely, quietly elegant, and simple in picture composition, precise in sculpt, fine in brush using, having bright contrast with modern vigorous freehand brushwork.
