Ping Zhang, male, art vice-chairman of Painting Seminar of Yanmen, Shanxi, director of Xizhou Artists’ Association. He was born in Yizhou, Shanxi in 1951 and graduated from Geosciences Department of Shanxi Mining College in early years and engaged in outside geosciences work for years. The scientific research task he bear won the 2nd Award of Science and Technology in Shanxi in 1980 and the 3rd Award of Science and Technology of geosciences and mining department. During outside geosciences work period, he learned sketch, color as well as sculpt himself, and he was good at image especially. In 2002, he went to Malaysia to attend Kuala Lumpur International Millennium Dragon Year Welcoming Spring Festival Thousand Dragon and Lights Exposition Huge Light Meeting’s Art Design as specially invited Art Design and he created a lot of image painting for friends of each country. Recent years, he applied his mind to oil painting still life and image’s creation, especially the study of Surrealism Still Life Oil Painting. He copied and repeated many famous oil painting still life works of masters at home and abroad. His oil painting still life works were chosen to painting exhibition of each level times and part of his oil painting works were collected by friends. 
2004  His oil painting attended Famous Painters and Calligraphers of Yizhu Native Place Invitation Exhibition.
2005 
His work was chosen to Song of Setting Sun China Agedness Painting and Calligraphy Works Florilegium.
His work was chosen to China Famous Painters and Calligraphers Handing Down for Generations Dictionary.
His work was chosen to National Painting Art Section Chosen Exhibition celebrating the 110th’s Anniversary of Xu Beihong’s Birth and won the Chosen Award of Oil Painting in Middle-aged and Youth Team.
His work won the Golden Award in New Star Cup International Chinese Painting Works Match.
His work was edited into New Star Cup International Chinese Painters Collected Edition.
2006 
He attended 2006 Fine Artwork Exhibition of Yizhou and won award.
He won China Culture Art Achievement for Life Award, the Silver Award of Painting Art. His work was collected into World Literature and Art Read Extensively Chinese Painting and Calligraphy. His oil painting was edited into Famous Painting and Calligraphy Baoxin Liu Anthology of China Times Book Concern.
He won the Country Fetch Award in the 1st China Painting Country Fetch Country Art Award of China Calligraphers and Artists’ Association.
2008 
His work was chosen to Shanxi Apricot Flower Award Excellent Fine Artwork Exhibition of Shanxi Culture Office. He was chosen to Literature Garden, Contemporary Artist Sodality, and Contemporary Outstanding Artist.
