Xianglin Gu, male, native place Chengdu, Sichuan, born in 1945. He learned traditional Chinese painting from famous painter Yunyu Zhao as teacher in 1959 when he was 14 years old. He graduated from Chengdu Telecommunication Engineering College (Electronic and Technical University) in 1969 and went to 13th Army Cultivation Farm. He worked in Post Bureau of Qujing, Yunnan in 1970 and worked in Yunnan Telegraphy Equipment Factory in 1978. From 1993 to 2007, he worked in Joint Venture of China And Israel Kunming Tadilan Telegraphy Equipment LTD. Now he is member of Kunming Culture Palace traditional Chinese painting group. He attended Post Managing Bureau Exhibition of Qujing, Yunnan, Kunming and Yunnan Province.
Art Experience:
1976  He attended Yunnan Exhibition (cooperated with Dehua Yang of Qujing Culture Museum).
1970 to 1978  He attended the street publicizing painting’s painting of Qujing times.
2006  His article Applaud for Nature and Colorful Bird was published in Chuncheng Evening Paper.
2007  His traditional Chinese painting HARMONIOUS won the 1st Award among excellent works in the Painting Exhibition elebrating of the 10th’s Anniversary of Hong Kong’s regression.
2008  His traditional Chinese painting COLORFUL YUNNAN was published in China Pictorial.
