Yaping Yu, born in Yeboshou Station of Jin Iron Bureau of Shenyang in 1957, studied in Iron Primary School and Middle School in this area. He learned traditional Chinese Painting from Jianhu Hu of present Chifeng Painting Yard, Chengbiao Zhou of original Central Industrial Art Academy and Hongli Wang of Liaomei Book Concern from 1973. He went to the country after graduated from senior high school in 1975. He passed the exam to Japanese Major of Foreign Language Department of Liaoning Normal University in 1978. He graduated and shouldered interpreter in state company in 1982. During these years, he learned calligraphy from Zuosheng Qi, Chengwen Nie and Zixu Guo. He migrated to development zone of Dalian and shouldered interpreter in Japanese company in 1992. During these years, He learned ancient zither from Mr. Liansheng Li and Chen Zhuang. He learned Chen Style shadowboxing from Mr. Hong Ma, Bin Wang in 1996. Then he engaged in Japanese Teacher and painting specially. Now he is member of China Calligraphers’ Association, Dalian Calligraphers’ Association, director of Dalian Musicians’ Association Ancient Zither Branch, member of Dalian Shadowboxing Association.
