Minghua Chen, male, born in Lianjiang Town,Fujian in 1962. Now he is the member of China Artists’ Association. Member of China Watercolor Painters’ Association, chairman of Lianjiang Artists’ Association.
He loved art as childhood, entered into Fujian Industrial Art School in 1982 to begin studying painting skills. He entered into China Central Academy of Fine Arts to study oil painting major.
During these years, his works were published in China Oil Painting, Artist, the 2nd China Oil Painting Exhibition Works Collection, 97 China Watercolor Painting Volume, World Blue Book, China Contemporary Famous Artists Huge Dictionary, Contemporary Watercolor Painters Minghua Chen’s Works Collection, the 1st National Small Breath Watercolor Exhibitions Works Collection and other famous publications in the art field.
He has many works that won national awards successively.
1997   His won the 1st Award in the 2nd China Still Life Oil Painting Exhibition in National Art Museum of China.
He won the Learning Award in 97 China Youth Watercolor Huge Exhibition in Display Gallery of China Central Academy of Fine Arts.
2001  He won the Bronze Award in China Painting Award Match in Art Museum of Henan.
2003  He won the Silver Award in the 1st National Small Breath Watercolor Exhibitions in Art Museum of Fujian.
His works were chosen to attend the national painting exhibitions times.
1986  His works were chosen to the 1st National Watercolor and Powder Painting Exhibition in Art Museum of Shanghai.
1987  His works were chosen to China Oil Painting Exhibition in National Art Museum of China.
1989  His works were chosen to the 8th Artwork Exhibition in National Art Museum of China.
1996  His works were chosen to Asia Pacific Area Excursion Group Fine Art Exhibition in Art Museum of Fujian.
2001  His works were chosen to Sino-Korea Fine Art Communication Exhibition in Datian Art Museum. 
2004  His works were chosen to the 10th National Art Exhibition.
Many of his works were collected forever by Modern Art Museum of Korea, History Museum of Beijing, National Art Museum of China, and other art galleries at home and abroad.
