Ning Pan, male, ancestral home at Yueyang, Hunan, born in Wuhan in 1971. He graduated from Fine Art Department of Hunan Nomal University. 1994 to 2000, he worked in Wuhan, Hubei. 2000-2001, he studied in the China Academy of Art. 2001-2004, he engaged in free art. From 2004 till now, he has been working in Wuhan, Hubei.

Artist's Idea and Direction (Art Idea)
Idea: "Before and Now", painting for so long time, I just understand Chinese culture is so plentiful and quintessential. I just understand that in contemporary art world, one must understand China well before the world. I assimilated some good things in the Chinese culture recently. How to melt these to my painting well is what I am considering now.
