Qingjie Wang, graduated from the department of fine art education in Normal School, and completed the advanced research courses of traditional Chinese painting of China Artists’ Association, which was given by professors including Liu Dawei, etc. He now works as chief editor of magazine Oriental Culture and Art. He won the title of China Famous Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting Artist. He now takes charge of the activity department and training department of Creation Exchange Association of National Calligraphy and Painting Organizations.
1999
His traditional Chinese painting work Lin Tao entered the National Art Exhibition Commemorating the 2550th Anniversary of the Birth of Confucius held by China Artists’ Association.
His calligraphy work entered the National Calligraphy Exhibition Commemorating Shu Tong held by China Artists’ Association.
2000  His traditional Chinese painting work won the Silver Prize in National Calligraphy and Painting Contest held by China Artists’ Association and Hong Kong Wenrong Culture and Art Institute, etc.
2002  He went to Shandong, Qingdao, Laiwu, Weihai for sketch creation and collecting themes for painting with Xiu Wu, dean of Beijing Institute of Painting, Zhu Bing, chairman of Gansu Artists’ Association, etc.
2003
He went to Huangling, Hua Mountain, Huang Mountain in Shanxi Province for sketch creation.
He took the post of chief editor of newspaper Collection Guide.
2004  He went to Laoshan Mountain for sketch creation and collecting themes of painting with organizations including China Artists’ Association, Beijing Institute of Painting, etc.
2005  His work participated in Cross-straits Calligraphy and Painting Art Exchange Exhibition, and went to Huang Mountain for sketch creation. His works won many national awards.
2006  He participated in Make the Ancient Modern--Invitation Exhibition of Contemporary Capable Artists (Cui Zifan Art Museum, Qingdao).
2007  His solo exhibition New Year Exhibition of Qingjie Wang was held in Beijing.
2008  He took charge of the Art Creation Annual of Contemporary Youth Beijing.
