Zhen Xu, courtesy name Pengju, posing as Boy of Green Dragon, born in Anhui in October 1962. In 1986, he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Buyang Normal University. In 1994, he graduated from advanced course of Beijing Painting Academy. Now he is professional painter of Research Institute of Traditional Chinese Painting, Grade-1 painter of China Calligraphy and Painting of Nationalities, and editing commissioner of Art State magazine press.
Exhibitions:
1985  His work Mountain and River won the Bronze Prize in National Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition of System of Coal and Char Industry.
1988  He participated in Anhui Exhibition of Eight Excellent Youth Artists.
1994
His work entered Sino-Japan Buddhism Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition.
His solo exhibition Painting Art Exhibition of Xu Zhen was held in National Art Museum of China.
Zhen Xu Art Exhibition was held in Shenzhou Gallery in Singapore.
2005  He participated in China 1960’s Painting Exhibition, etc.
He and his works were reported or published by many media organizations including CCTV, Xinhua News Agency, China Radio International, Fine Arts magazine, China Culture, Guangming Daily, China Youth, Anhui Daily, China Daily, Art State, Art Panorama, etc.
