Yike Zheng, born in 1953, from Chenghai District of Shantou City, Guangdong Province. He is now member of Shenzhen Artists’ Association, director of Calligraphy and Painting Art Committee of World Irene Foundation Hong Kong. He spent many years working at research and creation of traditional Chinese painting and his works "are using traditional basic meaning but showing the totally new visual image.
2004
His four works including River Running on Rock entered large-scale painting volume Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Artists by Tianjing People Art Press.
His two works including All Green Through Spring won the Prize of Peace in the 1st Irene Cup International Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition and Contest, held by organizations including World Irene Foundation Hong Kong and Xu Beihong Art Academy of Renmin University of China, etc.
2005
His three works including Plenty of Fish in the Sea entered Contemporary China Fine Arts edited by Hong Kong People Art Press.
His five works including Wild Flower More Fragrant than Home Flower entered magazine Art Times Changchun.
His works including Couple entered China Famous Calligraphy and Painting Artists Invitation Exhibition held by Beijing Calligraphers’ Association and Hong Kong Calligraphers’ Association.
His two works including Fresh Hill After Raining entered Sino-USA Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Contest held by organizations including Oriental Art Academy San Francisco the USA and Hebei Modern Arts Seminar. And the work son the International Honor Golden Prize through San Francisco final appraise.
His two works including Lovely Flower Challenging the Snowy Days won the Excellence Award in International Painting Calligraphy and Photography Contest Celebrating the 600th Anniversary of Zheng He’s Journey to Occident, held by China Economy and Trade Picture Newspaper Press Beijing.
His work Peaceful Tide Makes Banks Wide and Fair Wind Makes Sail Hanging won the Bronze Prize in the 1st Affection for Traditional Chinese Painting and Calligraphy--National Exchange Exhibition of Famous Calligraphy and Painting Artists held by China Literator Artists’ Association (Hong Kong) and Chinese Art Gallery, etc.
His work Most of Wild Flowers Are More Colorful won the Silver Prize in New Expression Cup National Calligraphy and Painting Artists Contest, held by Oriental Art Seminar and China Calligraphy and Painting Newspaper.
His work Wild Chrysanthemum entered the Work Collection of Famous National Calligraphy and Painting Artists.
His work River Gone to the East won the Silver Prize in 2005 Guilin-St.Paul Sino-Brazil Friendly Calligraphy and Painting Exchange Exhibition held by Yanhuang Calligrraphy and Painting Art Seminar Guilin and Chinese Calligraphy Association Brazil.
His two works including Scent of Flower in Snowy Days entered the Calligraphy and Painting Art Exhibition Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the Victory of War of Resistance Against Japan, held by Beijing New Army Four Seminar, culture department of Liberate Army newspaper and Anti-Japan War Memorial.
His work Still Flourishing in Reflection won the First Prize in the 2005 Sino-Korea Famous Calligraphy and Painting Artists Exchange Exhibition, held by Yanhuang Calligraphy and Painting Art Seminar Guilin, Korean International Calligraphy and Painting Association, and Chinese Calligraphy Association Brazil, etc.
His work Frost on Branch Makes Flower More Lovely won the First Prize in the Yinglian Cup-World Peace International Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition, held by China Administration of Culture, China Foreign Art Exhibition Center, China Artists’ Association, etc.
His works were edited into Single Edition of Excellent Chinese Artists series held by Fine Arts magazine press by China Artists’ Association.
