Liang Hu, born in Dingxi City, Gansu Province in 1963, bachelor degree. Vice secretary-general of China Dunhuang Art Creation Committee, member of China Industrial Arts Artists’ Association, member of Gansu Artists’ Association, state level-2 painter, painting of Longzhong Gallery. He is professional painter, and works in oil painting and concurrently in traditional Chinese painting. He pursues vivid personal style and strong western characteristics in oil painting, and entered successively national synthesis art exhibitions and oil painting special exhibitions posted by China Artists’ Association and China Oil Painting Acad. Some of his works won awards and were edited into many large-scale painting volumes, and introduction of him and his works were published on many academia newspapers and periodicals, including Fine Arts newspaper, Gansu Culture, Western Calligraphy and Painting Research, Soul of West, etc.
Selected Exhibitions and Awards Won:1999  His work Long Ancient Road entered Gansu Art Exhibition.
2000  His solo exhibition Oil Painting of Liang Hu was held in Baiyin City.
2001  His work Desired Sienna Land won second prize in Affection for Longshang Art Exhibition held in Gansu.
2002  His work Silent Ancient Road entered 2002 National Art Exhibition Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of Zedong Mao’s Lecture at Yan’an Culture and Art Colloquium.
August 2003  His work Times entered the 17th Exhibition of New Talents and New Works, Beijing, posted by China Artists’ Association.
October 2003  His work Traces of Times entered the 3rd China Oil Painting Exhibition, Beijing.
2004  Home Garden entered Gansu Art Exhibition Celebrating of the 55th Anniversary of Foundation of PRC.
October 2004  His work House on Plateau entered the 1st Dingxi Art Exhibition Celebrating of the 55th Anniversary of Foundation of PRC.
March 2005  His oil painting participated in the 1st National Exchange Exhibition of Famous Calligraphy and Painting Artists held in Beijing and won Bronze Prize.
October 2005  His work Ancient Town won third prize in Western Charm Gansu Exhibition Celebrating the 56th Anniversary of Foundation of PRC.
December 2005  Country Sketch entered the 2nd Gansu Nature Sketch Painting Exhibition.
September 2006  His work Setting Sun entered Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition of Eight Areas of Gansu Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of Victory of Long March of Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army.
October 2007  He participated in the 1st Impression of Longzhong Oil Painting Exhibition of Ten Artists, Dingxi.
