Guo Ru, born in Wuzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Minority Autonomous Region in October 1962. In 1991, he graduated from oil painting major of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. Now he works at oil painting creation here, and many of his works won excellence awards many times in city-level exhibitions. In 1992, his work was selected for National Biennial and was published. His works Girl of Mao Minority and Shepherdess were collected by French and painting Ancient Town was collected by English. Furthermore Love for Water-town series were collected mostly by Southeast Asian. In October 2007, he participated in China Renshou Cup Art Exhibition and honorably won Second Prize.
