Yun Hu, middle name Zhijin, male, born in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province. In 1983, he learned from teacher Wu Outing, a home scholar at south of the Yangtze River. In 1989 he learned from a famous Hong Kong painter Xie Juxian, and studied in Wuxi Academy of Calligraphy Art, further in China Institute of Fine Art. From 1990 till now, he has published more then 150 pieces of works and thesises on more then 20 newspapers and periodicals, including Wenhui, Xinmin News, Zhejiang Daily, Fine Art, Xizhi Calligraphy, Literature and so on. He’s now art consultant of Hong Kong China Art Museum, member of Zhejiang Calligrapher Association, member of Zhejiang Artists’ Association, Zhejiang China Painter of Flowers and Birds Association, and member of Huang Binhong Academic Seminar.

Solo Exhibitions:June 1993  His solo exhibition was held in Moyaxuan Art Co., Ltd Gallery, Hong Kong.
1993-1994  He has ever been invited twice by Hong Kong Famous Painting Association of Hong Kong Art Foundation to Hong Kong for academic intercommunion.
1994  Colorful ink painting Blue Dream entered the 1st China Literature and Art Works Fair mainly held by China Culture Union, and was decided to be Level-one work in fine art group as well.
September 1994  His solo exhibition was held in Hong Kong Vision Art Center.
March 1995  His solo exhibition was held in Moyaxuan Art Co., Ltd Gallery, Hong Kong.
1996  He participated in Internation Art Fair, Guangzhou.
May 1996  His solo exhibition was held in Hong Kong Collector Gallery.
August 1996  His solo exhibition was held in Wumen Art and Literary Circles in Suzhou Creation Center of China Artists’ Association.
April 1997  His solo exhibition was held in Moyaxuan Art Co., Ltd Gallery, Hong Kong.
1997  Colorful ink painting Charm of Hometown entered National Painting, Calligraphy and Carving Contest of Young mainly held by Fine Art Magazine, China Calligraphy Magazine, China Calligraphers’ Association and Carving Art Committee, and won excellence nomination prize. His work was edited into painting collection.
October 1998  His solo exhibition was held in Hong Kong Collector Gallery.
January 1999  His solo exhibition was held in Moyaxuan Gallery, Hong Kong.
1999  Colorful ink painting Singing Frog entered Originality Exhibition of Poems of Mao Zedong held mainly by China Artists’ Association and Heilongjiang Artists’ Association in celebration of the 50th anniversary of foundation of PRC.
1999  Colorful ink painting Realize Where Saint Teacher Confucius Was At entered Calligraphy and Painting Great Exhibition in commemoration of the 2550 birth anniversary of Confucius, mainly held by China Artists’ Association and CPC Qubu City Committee, and his work was edited into painting collection.
1999  Colorful ink painting Aged but Healthy entered large-scale calligraphy and painting exhibition in celebration of return of Macao to China mainly held by China Overseas Chinese Artists’ Association and Central Department Brance of China Calligraphers’ Association, and his work was edited into painting collection.
1999  Colorful ink painting Slowly Streaming River in Spring entered the 1st  Zhao Mengfu National Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition mainly held by Zhejiang Artists’ Association and Zhejiang Calligraphers’ Association, and won the honor of exhibition prize.
1999  Colorful ink painting Purple entered Calligraphy and Painting Great Exhibition mainly held by Zhejiang Artists’ Association and Zhejiang University in celebration of return of Macao, and his work was edited into painting collection.
2000  Colorful ink painting Affluent Spring entered 2000 World Exhibition of Chinese Artist mainly held by Culture Department, China Culture Union and Renmin Pictorial, and won the honor of bronze prize. At the same time, he was conferred with honorable title of World Chinese Artist.
2000  Colorful ink painting Morning in Village entered the 2nd Zhao Mengfu National Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition mainly held by Zhejiang Artists’ Association and Zhejiang Calligraphers’ Association, and won the honor of exhibition prize.
2000  His calligraphy work entered the 1st National Contest of Couplet for Landscape and Scenic Interest mainly held by Hunan Calligraphers’ Association and won excellence award. His work was edited into calligraphy collection.
