Zongze Gu , born in Changde, Hunan Province in 1984, graduated from Fine Art Academy of Guangxi Normal School with a bachelor’s degree. He now works as a teacher in Jinshi City No.1 Middle School, Hunan Province. He is a member of Hunan Watercolor Seminar, Changde Artist Associate and Jinshi Stamp Associate.
2005  His work Machine Under the Sun series No.1 won Excellence Prize in the 2nd Guangxi Art Exhibition of Young of Lijiang School, hosted by Guangxi Artist Associate, and was displayed in Guangxi Art Museum.
2005  His work Ancient Town in Memory won bronze prize in Gold Vessel--National Calligraphy and Painting Contest, ans was compiled into its painting volume.
2005  Watercolor Exhibition of Maixin, Gu Zongze was held in Art Museum of Guangxi Normal School. News of this exhibition was published in Guilin Daily and Guilin Evening newspaper.
2006  His work won third prize in Works Exhibition of the 3rd China Changde Poet Art Festival, and was displayed in Changde Museum.
2006  He won bronze prize in Oriental Calligraphy and Painting Online Exhibition, which was published in Oriental Pictorial.
2007  His two landscape works were compiled into the 1st Art Works Collection of China Fine Art Teachers and won Excellence Prize.
2007  Two of his watercolor works were published on Fine Art newspaper.
2007  Three of his watercolor works were respectively published on Issue 6 and Issue 9 of New Talent and New Works of China West Watercolor Website.
2007  One of his works was published in Lancao publication and one in Changde Evening newspaper.
