Zhixue Wang, born in Qishan Town, Shanxi Province, studied Chinese calligraphy and painting with great concentration for more than 20 years, and made accomplishments on themes such as flowers and birds, animals and landscapes. He graduated from Baoji University. During his school, he held his personal calligraphy and painting exhibition successfully. He’s now member of Baoji Calligraphy and Painting Artist Associate, Network member of Modern Calligraphy and Painting Net, Chinese Fine Art Net, Interactive Website of Calligraphy and Painting, Painter Net.
2005  Traditional Chinese painting won gold prize in Huangshan Cup--Chinese Contemporary Calligraphy, Painting and Photography Exhibition Contest and was edited into Chinese Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting Selective Collection. At the same time, he was conferred with honorable title of Chinese Contemporary Painting Talent Top 100 of 2005.
2005  Many of his traditional Chinese paintings were selected into literature annal File of Constructor of PRC-Culture and Art Volume, and was invited as Specially Invited Edit-Commissioner.
2005  He was conferred with title of Chinese Painting Brave to Be Innovative by seven calligraphy and Painting institutes including China International Calligraphy and Painting Seminar, Dadi Calligraphy and Painting Center of Farmer Daily.
2006  He won Excellence Prize in Harmonious China--National New Works Contest of Calligraphy and Painting.
2006  Many of his works were recorded into large scale history literature Splendour of China mainly hosted by China Famous People Associate.
2006  He won second prize in the 6th Huangshan Cup--National Calligraphy, Painting and Photography Exhibition Contest.
2006  He won silver prize in National Calligraphy and Painting Contest in celebration for the 100th death anniversary, and his work was edited into Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Artist Works Selective Collection. He was conferred with title of Enterprising Calligraphy and Painting Artist as well.
2006  His work won silver prize in National Calligraphy and Painting Contest Juzizhou Cup in celebration of the 30th death anniversary, and was conferred with title of Chinese Contemporary Famous Calligraphy and Painting Artist Top 500.
2006  He won Excellence Prize in the first Landscape Cup--National  Calligraphy and Painting Contest, and his work was edited into works collection of the first Landscape Cup National Calligraphy and Painting Contest.
2006  Many of his works were recorded into large scale history literature annal Innovative China culture and art volume.
2006  He participated in China Cup--National Calligraphy and Painting Contest for New Beijing New Olympics and won silver prize, and his work was edited into Chinese Famous Calligraphy and Painting Artist Selective Collection.
2006  He participated in Into Zhengzhou--the 5th Cross-Straits Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition held by China Culture Union Art Exchange Center of Calligraphy and Painting. His work won Elite Prize and he was conferred with title of Excellent Artist with Love for the People.
2007  His work was recorded into Contemporary Excellent Calligraphy and Painting New Works Fair and he was conferred with honorable title of Contemporary Excellent Calligraphy and Painting Artist.
He is now creator of Xiqi Calligraphy and Painting Center; commissioner of Calligraphy and Painting Creation Commission of Eastern Calligraphy and Painting People; art consultant of president of Jintang Calligraphy and Painting Center. His works were published in many publications such as Fine Art, Guangdong Calligraphy and Painting Art, Art China, and were collected by many institutes, art lovers and collectors at home and abroad.
