Caisheng Zhou,Born in center of Chongqing City in 1949. Second-grade national art painter, director of Artist Associate of Chongqing City, chairman of Art Associate of Wanzhou District, director of honor of Korean Modern Artist Associate.
Graduated from affiliated middle school of Sichuan Institute of Fine Art in 1969, and assigned to work in Culture Museum of Wuxi Town. In 1987, he was transferred to Museum of Wanxian, and in 1997 to Culture Museum of Wanzhou, where he now works.

In 1992, oil painting Town was selected into China Oil Painting Exhibition and was displayed in Hong Kong;
In 1997, watercolor work To the Frontier entered the 7th China Watercolor Exhibition;
In 1999, watercolor work Rest participated in Fine Art Works Exhibition in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Country Foundation as well as Chongqing Selected Works Exhibition for National Fine Art Exhibition and won Excellence Prize.
In 2001, Old House series No.2 won Excellence Prize in the 2nd Chongqing Watercolor and Gouache Exhibition
In 2003, watercolor Canoe Sailing through Mountains entered the first China Exhibition of Small Watercolors;
In 2003, watercolor Baryang Gorge was selected into the 12th National Art Exhibition of Star Prize and won Excellence Prize of Culture department;
In 2003, watercolor Back Street was collected by Art Committee of China Artist Associate;
In 2004, watercolor Rivers and Mountains was selected into National Fine Art Exhibition in celebration of the 100th birth anniversary of Deng Xiaoping(collected by organization committee);
In 2004, print Corner of Reservoir entered the 1st Nation Print Invitaiton Exhibition(collected by China Print Museum);
In 2005, Parting Scene participated Sino-Korea Excellent Fine Art Works Exhibition;

In 2004, Caisheng Zhou Three Gorges Painting Collection was published.
I live in heart section of the Three Gorges of Yangtse River for a long time and has an indissoluble bond with the people and great nature here. I try to express them by ture-life technique and have painting numbers of landscapes with geographic character of the Three Gorges. Many works were published in many national and provincial publications, such as Fine Art, Oil Painting China, Watercolor China, Renmin Daily, Guangming Daily. Many works won awards and were collected by museums, professional institutions and people abroad.
