Weicheng Wang, second name is Dayi, and elegant name is Host of Qiuxin House. His ancestral home is Jing Town in south Anhui, and is born in old town Shou town in 1964. He learned calligraphy when he’s very young and his teacher is Situ Yue, a famous calligrapher.
He started his learning of calligraphy from Xuanmita Stele by Liu Gongquan, and in 30 years he never stopped studying hard. He copied Jiaguwen of Shang Dynasty, Shan Dish and Dayu Vessel of Zhou Dynasty, Zhang Qian Stele and  Shimen Eulogy of Han Dynasty, Zhang Haili Epitaph and Zheng Xi Stele of North Wei Dynasty, Taishan Diamond Sutra of North Qi Dynasty and other more than ten styles of historical famous models, including Wang father and son, Zhiyong, Sun Guoting, Yan Zhenqing, Hui Su, Zhu Zhishan, etc. He deeply believes that hard work can often make up for a lack of intelligence, and creation comes from erudition and intensive thinking. He strives to persue beauty of young and juvenility which verge on nature but different from nature. He works hard to reach an art level that art is watery as God creat it but unsophisticated and elegant, powerful and solemn but with excellence.
His calligraphy works have been displayed several times in Janpan, Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong and other countries and areas, and won awards about 10 times in national calligraphy competitions. He loves poems and couplets, as well as stories and anecdotes. His works include Poem Draft in Wolu, Couplet Collection of Qiuxin House, Anecdotes in Wolu, Calligraphy Selection of Weicheng Wang and so on. Parts of his works are selected to be carved into Mo-tse Steles and Rock Forest Steles.
Many of his calligraphy and poems were published on Calligraphy, Calligraphy Newspaper, Calligraphy and Painting, Calligraphy Appreciation, Calligraphy Lovers and other periodicals, newspapers and magzines. Further more, many newspapers presses make special covers of him, such as Anhui TV Station, Anhui Broadcasting Station.
