Mingtang Zhang, a member of Fujian branch of China Artist Associate, China Oil Painting Associate and a researcher of Fuzhou Painting and Calligraphy Seminar.
He is one of the specially employed painter of Sanming Institute of Fine Art and one of the Guangdong Shenzhen Nanling Original Painter Group. He had ever been appointed as vice chairman of Artist Associate of Fujian Sanming and vice chairman of Fine Art Seminar of Young Artists.
He dabbles in oil painting, print, ink painting, etc. He commits himself to exploration and research of painting arts for a long time, especially in oil painting and print. His works is famous by the strong formation and unique expression skills. His oil paintings are fresh and gorgeous in color but not without firmness, adding various forms, which express out his unique personal style.
For years, he held many individual exhibitions in China and accepts abroad recognition. Evaluation articles and parts of his works were published in newspapers and periodicals at home and abroad.
