Xiaofei Luo, male, born in Dujiangyan, Sichuan Province in April, 1967. He graduated frome Oil Painting Specialty in Southwest Normal University Fine Art School. Present he’s a member of China Industrial Artist Association and Sichuan Artist Association. He’s now an associate professor of fine art department of Sichuan Aba Advance Academe.
September, 1993, his work Sunset in Wild Hill won second prize in Sichuan Aba Altiplano Art Festival Exhibition.
September, 1994, his work Sunset in Wild Hill entered the 2nd Sichuan Minority Art Festival Exhibition.
September, 1994, painting Green Apple entered Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition of celebration for 10th Teacher’s Day, Sichuan and won third prize. Furthermore, it’s been collected into auction by Sichuan Education Fund.
October, 1999, oil painting Empty House entered the first Aba Oil Painting Great Exhibition and won excellence award.
November, 1999, oil painting Still Life entered the 4th Sichuan Art Festival Exhibition of High School Teacher and won excellence award in teacher group.
July, 2001, painting Setting Sun won first prize in teacher works section of the first Sichuan Aba Elementary and High School Art Festival Exhibition.
October, 2002, his work Grassland in July entered the 4th Sichuan Minority Art Festival Exhibition and win second prize. In December the same year, it entered Artwork Exhibition of Sichuan Tibet Area and was collected into Works Volume of Sichuan Tibet Area. It was also published on Jiuzhaigou, 2nd issue, 2002.
June, 2004, his work Summer Sun entered Artwork Exhibition of Sichuan College Art Teachers and was published and introduced in Painting Special Column of Beauty and Times, 9th issue, 2006.
September, 2006, his works Altiplano Pageant and Autumn of Qiangshan won the honor of special prize in fine art group in the 6th Huangshan Cup National Painting, Calligraphy and Photography Contest.
October, 2006, Fallen Snow on Qiangshan Moutain entered the 4th Sichuan Minority Art Festival Exhibition.
December, 2006, his work Walking in Alley won excellence prize in the 6th Art Garden Cup National Works Exhibition of National Normal School Art Teachers and was published on Art Garden, 6th issue, 2006.
September, 2007, Girl in the Sun entered Greeting The 16th Party Congress and Build New Countryside Sichuan Artworks Exhibition. Oil paintings Sunset in Wild Hill, Green Apple and other works totally 6 works were published in cover 3 and special column introduction in back cover on University Times, 10th issue, 2006.
His oil painting work Winter in Qiang was published in oil painting page on Fine Art Newspaper, July, 2006 (total 661st issue).
Oil painting Fallen Snow on Qiangshan Moutain Series(total 4) were published in special introduction in artist volume of China and the World Cultural Exchange, 9th issue, 2006 (total 113rd issue). Furthurmore, Writer Yang Guoqing wrote a special introduction in article Walking on the Snow of Qiangshan Moutain--Care for Life from Xiaofei Luo.
